    Would running these apps effect preformance?

    Would running apps like rocket dock, longon studio, and other visual enhancement apps effect performance when gaming? if so, would it be quite a lot?

    RD is not that resource intensive and shouldn't even matter when gaming. LogonStudio does nothing, it is just a patch. Of course I'm assuming you have a modern computer with decent ram and processer

    Judging from your signature, it will most likely only add a couple seconds to your boot time.

    I have object dock, yahoo widgets, and active desktop calendar running on my laptop, the only difference I've noticed is it takes a few seconds longer to boot up.

    512 ram is pretty low...what kind of game are you playing? Is it really resource intensive?

    he has 512mb of GDDR2 ram....
    and tbh i try not to have any of those apps running whilst gaming.... i have noticed the performance difference.
