I have posted all over this forum about not being able to create an ISO with a Windows 7 upgrade CD that is not bootable that Sony sent me. I want to do a clean install with formatting of the hard drive. I have a legal copy of Windows 7 with a registration code.
Can someone upload an ISO of Windows 7 somewhere?

I have run into another roadblack. I can't get access to the folders to make the ISO. Same issues as before.
Is there anywhere I can legally get an ISO? -
Can't get access?? Is that what it says when you click the link?

I can upload one for a nominal fee of $99.99 + $9.99 (Uploading & file handling cost).

"nominal"

"The application can not find one of its required files, possibly because it was unable to create it in the folder. Please make sure that the folder in which the application was dowloaded is accessible and not read only."
I have created permissions, ownershipt, etc. and nothng works.
I have probably spent at least 4 hours trying to create this ISO image. I am about to blow my brains out over this. Sony really put their users over a barrel. -

It is 64 bit to 64 bit.
The "expandedSetup" folder does not exist.
One more thing....
Sony can eat a d*ck. -

why all the gyrating around with a download? MSFT will gladly send you replacement media (cost is about $10-) IF and ONLY IF you can prove you have a legit license.

Kevlina, it always helps to identify the following for the PC you are using when requesting help (Please complete):
Model No:
Operating System:
Version: i.e. Business
Type: 32bit(x86) or 64bit(x64)
Also, where did you download the files from that your are trying to "Unload"?
Download the files from the thread with the digitalriver links, I know for a fact that those files work: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=428068
After downloading try executing the instructions 1-7 following them exactly in that thread.
The error message you are getting is still typical of "Unloading the Box" for a x64 version on a x86 OS. -
why not just use the upgrade cd as is, you can do clean install from there, can't you.
also, since you have the upgrade version... can you even do an clean install from boot???? -
this is starting to sound like a 6 year old going from parent to parent trying to get permission to do something they know is wrong.......
Would someone be willing to send me an ISO of Windows 7?
