    Write time Text / Log file at system shutdown?

    Is there a quick and easy way to automatically write the time a PC shutdown into a log or text file? Thanks.

    Windows does this automagically. Search Event Log (eventvwr.msc) for Event-ID 6006 "The Event log service was stopped.". This is the sutdown timestamp.
