Is there a way to write a .rmvb (Real Media) file in a DVD so that it can be played in a DVD player? Thanks.

You need to encode it to a DVD format

Are there any software available for encoding? Thanks.

There are a few, but none of them are free. BUT, I came across a nice guide, though it's lengthy, and hardly worth the effort IMHO. I use RMVB files alot, but never bother. The video would be blurry and pixelated like no tomorrow if I played it on my plasma display.
