Hi guys
I was playing around with my partitions in Vista and shrunk it so I had some free space, then decided against using the free space as a separate partition, so I extended the C partition so it took back the space I'd got from shrinking it.
But now when I boot into XP which I have dual booting with Vista it recognises the C partition as G!
I've tried XP's computer management console to rename the partition and it won't allow me to rename it because the C drive is the system/boot volume...
Is there anyway I can rename the partition back to C to avoid any problems later on when installing software that checks for a C drive?
Thanks in advance for any help/advice on this.![]()
