I have a T61p on the never-ending backorder, but someday it'll likely arrive (or I'll have canceled it and gotten something else.)

With Vista being on everything now, but none of my apps running on Vista (yet) I have to install XP if I plan to do anything other than use the machine for a doorstop.

The 61 is coming with Vista64 (which has it's own set of quirks.) Thinking might install Vista32 as well. And as long as I'm doing that I might just as well install XP64 and Linux too.

So, question is, Can XP, XP64, Vista32 & Vista64 reside on the same partition or do I need separate partitions for each?
Will Office need separate directories for each?

Granted this may be a moot point since Vista is such a pig there may not be enough drive on the planet to install all this, but I'm still curious if they will cohabitate.

    Thanks in advance..

You have to install each operating system on a separate partition.
