    Hi all,

I have a VAIO Z and recently did an XP downgrade. I installed Widcomm's bluetooth driver but it is incompatible with my Blackberry device.

I have tried uninstalling Widcomm in the hope that i could then install the microsoft bluetooth drivers.

Unfortunately when i restart my computer "bluetooth devices" disappears from my device manager and a "scan for hardware changes" brings up nothing..

How can I force XP to recognize the bluetooth device so that i can then install the drivers?

I have tried searching the internet to no avail so far...

    Thanks

Do you have the drivers, or know where the files are located on your C:\ drive? If so, try just going to the files themselves and installing them.
