ok guys....i am gonna go insane if i can't fix this.....

so, every time i put in a cd, whether it is blank, music, dvd, etc.....stupid Media Center opens up and I have to wait for it to read the cd, close it, then i can move on to what i wanted to do.......

so, what i have done so far to no avail....

    - dled windows powertools tweakui and shut off autoplay for the drive
    - went into properties for the cd-drive and set all autoplay options to "take no action"
    - i have turned off every single autoplay option i know how to.....

    yet.....IT STILL OPENS!

why....why! i re-ran setup for media center (via the option once it opens) and no where could i find a "stop media center from opening" option.....

    someone.....anyone...please help.....

Basicly you put in a CD to "play" (for example) and the "media center" pops-up instead of your media player.

You want media player not the media center to pop-up correct?
