I am getting every increasing problems while surfing. I get a popup who content is:
    sxAppName scchost.exe s2Appver 5.1.1.2600.5512 s2ModName ntdll.dll
    s2Modver 5.1.2600.5755 offset 00023845
Sometimes the session freeze and download stops, sometimes there seems to be a massive download going on. there is no sound.
sfc /scannow and chkdsk /r did not help. Could this be some remnant of the virus/malware attack I fought off with malwarebytes Avast, and Eset?

Run a Virus and Malware scan and see if anything pops up.

I have done that but nothing is flagged. I also am getting extra IE sessions started with with ad like sites. I have a Firewall up with Eset, so how are these getting through and is this another symprom of the problem?

Download and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Sounds like some sort of infection.

Yes, but I just ran that with no infections found. Any ideas as to the extra "phantom" Iexplorer which I think is causing the excessive downloading?

Just end the process, it's clearly Internet Explorer, nothing to dramatic... Unless you are using it, then of course you would leave it be. Though if it is downloading excessively, then close it in Task Manager.

I did that today, after an excessive download started. Killing the only IE session did not stop the download until I killed the Internet connection since the svchost was still getting CPU resources. So what is causing the excessive downloaded(into a temp IE file?)
