    XP Wont install on Acer Aspire 1520

    Hey, Im trying to install XP onto my Acer Aspire 1520, but everytime, it starts installing, or sometimes gets to the first page, and just Randomly shuts off, any help with this? I have tried several attempts to install, it, and it is not working I am using XP Home edition 02. Service pack 2.

    It sounds like the disk you have is SP2/ Service Patch 2, not Windows XP. Thus it wont install, its an update. I haven't heard of a Home Edition 02. -h-
