I've run into a situation where XP can't find a locally stored profile and displays an error messare regarding insufficient sucurity. When XP is finished booting It's like the first time logging in. It's on a Dell Inspiron with XP home edition. I've read where a possible solution would be to create another user account then copy the old profile to the new account. But I'd have to recreate all of the personal settings and may have to reinstall some applications. Any ideas? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks! :)
