    Hello all,

I hope someone out there can help so I'll try to describe my problem. When I boot into Win XP PRO (I have dual boot Vista/XP), I enter my password to logon to my domain, and after a few secs, I get an error message that says Visual C++ Runtime Library , ...Runtime Error! ...system32/winlogon.exe. Then I click on ok, and it goes to the blue screen sometimes, or reboots.

    Notes:

This problem occured after I added free space to the XP partition (E) from the Vista partition (C). I used Acronis Disk Director and it seemed to work ok with the one exception that when rebooting after the changes were made, I booted into XP and not Vista, which is where Disk Director operates.

-Vista is on C, XP is on E

-safe mode still has the same error

    -booting into Vista works fine

-cant use system restore or use last good config option

-tried to repair the install using XP CD

    Any thoughts?

One last thing, I have Adobe Indesign CS2 and some other software which I need to get into to transfer the software license off the computer so that I can activate later (assuming I need to format and reinstall XP), is there a way to do that?

    Thanks!
