I have a slight problem with my dualbooting, I had a working Vista and XP dualboot setted up before i had that dodgy vista safe mode black screen problem and so clean installed Vista, which distorted the dualboot settings.

Vista is on the C drive and XP is on the E drive, and after reinstalling Vista, XP just refuses to load, saying that NTLDR is missing or error and so only vista is bootable, the poor recovery of XP disc did not help either, i have tried setting the dualboot option with EasyBCD as shown in a guide but this failed, also tried restoring the NTLDR with recovery on xp disc but nothing works.

I do no wish to reinstall XP as i did this about 3-4weeks ago. Any way to restore the NTLDR? Do i restore NTLDR on the C drive or E drive as V is on C drive and XP is on E drive?

    Thanks for any replies.
