What problem?
XP supports dual core processors just fine, although there are a couple of updates to tweak its behaviour for the latest models (KB896256, KB936357, KB946501). -
You should get dual core support directly through windows update, with nothing much to do.
It justs doesn't have the architecture to make full use of it for everyday use like Vista does but there shouldn't be any problems...
