The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I know if you have vista, you can install the 64 bit version using your exisitng 32bit COA........

    Is the same to be presummed of XP pro.....

    Anyone here running 64 bit XP Pro on thier vostro 1500 ?

    I wouldn't bother with XP Pro 64-bit. As far as I am aware it's very poorly supported. If you want 64-bit vista is the way to go. :)
