Ok so I'm sure there are a million posts about this same topic, but my laptop originally came with Vista home basic, but I "downgraded" to XP home. Now that I have upgraded my laptop considerably, I'm considering reinstalling vista via the disc that came with my laptop. Now does anyone know if dell puts all the bloatware on the vista reinstall disc that comes with the laptop? and also, is it even worth it? or should i just stick with XP

No, all Dell Vista disks contain just the Operating System. This allows you to have a fresh start. If you got other applications with your system, you'll need to reinstall them with the individual software disks provided. :)
