Ok, so everything is working now on my computer except for sleep and hibernate.

I click start, shut down, standby !!!OR!!! close the lid.
    System stands by....works fine
Open lid, or attempt to resume from standby, system wakes, i can hear the sounds, but the monitor does not wake up. I'm sure someone has come accross this problem and fixed it so any imput would be appreciated.

Same thing with hibernate. It says windows is resuming....windows resumes, i hear the sound when i type my password and hit enter since i dont need to see to do that i thought maybe the screen would turn on after i logged on but no luck. Please help
