I'm in Iraq and I want to play my Xbox on my laptop. I have a Dazzle DVC 80 USB connector and the only program I found is called Kotor, or KTV. Same Program. But it's best resolution setting is like 700 something and that sucks. WinTV32/2000 will only work with the haugpauge wintv usb adapter, and it only uses coax, and I need AV. Does anyone Know of any other TV software out there, preferebly free, or a trial version I can at least experiment with untill my new laptop arrives? Oh and the damn thing was re-routed because our old mailing address has changed becuse our parent unit changed. So it could be months before i get it, by that time it will be outdated lol.

    Ordered:
    HP ZD8080
    P4 3.4
    1 Gig PC3200 ram
    100 G 4200RPM HD
    ATI X600 256M Video
    WINXP MC 2005

i know this is an old post, but i just stumbled across it and thought i'd answer what i know.

I tried using a hauppage tv capture card to play xbox at home. we had two xbox's set up on the LAN at home but only one tv, so i thought to use the computer/monitor as the second one.

it came through, but the problem was the latency on the computer made it too hard to play. there was like a 2 or 3 second delay from when you used the controller, to when you saw it on the monitor. pretty much useless. your computer might be faster though. xbox offers a bunch of different connectors from coaxial, rca (composite), s-video, and component. you should be able to order any of them online. but you're still stuck with the latency problem. if you could get an s-video-to-VGA cable adaptor, that might open up some options...

i just found some pictures of a sandstorm in iraq. MAN those things are WICKED!

go to Big-Boys.com for great pics and videos, they put a few new ones up each day, should be great entertainment for you guys over there.

    later mon, Benji O.
