I wanted to try some VIsta themes on my old laptop, but a lot of people warned me of possible issues, even possibly rendering XP useless.
Or problems with some peripherals...
Any good Vista transformation themes for XP out there (I`m asking for experience naming, not -I heard this or that-)
-
Vista Inspirat or Vista Transformation Pack
Both are good in their own rightsand i have tried both and never faced any issues with it

Why not windowblinds?
-
is there any that can convert xp to have this aero glass effect as in vista?
-

-
- True Transparency (the window borders are translucent, but there's no blur. The contents of windows smear a little when you drag them)
- Vystal (full effect, but slows down the system to the point of uselessness)
- FastAero (botched full effect, the minimize, restore, and maximize buttons are too big and the window title font is ugly) -
Thanks for the other sugestions, I`m trying them out now. -
Hey, I have a question. Would installing one of these on windows xp in a dual boot system mess up anything? Has anyone tried this? I've got vista and xp, and xp is on the d: drive.
Thanks,
Dan -
no it shouldnt. I like the inspirat theme better.

I use BricoPack Vista Inspirat Ultimate 2. It works great and never had an issue with it. It's free and comes with a dock as well. Here's a preview of what it looks like. http://www.crystalxp.net/galerie/en.id.130.htm
