This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I use Trillian. This one looks OK, but it's just a skin. They should of changed the menu look.

    never had any issues with y.messenger under vista, so kinda uhhh? when this beta vista version been introduced

    Same here. I use Trillian for Yahoo, AIM, & Hotmail.

    I still have Yahoo messenger, MSN Messenger, and AIM installed just incase I need to use the extras for some reason. But for the the most part I use Trillian for basic chatting. I just make sure that none of them don't startup with windows.

    Trillian Pro($25) has video chat....Trillian Basic (Free) doesn't !!

    I use Trillian for basic chatting but when I need to video chat then I need to use Yahoo! Messenger/Windows Live Messenger/Skype since I only have Trillian Basic.
