Alright, so I have encountered a annoyance. This never happened with my desktop so I'm assuming this has something to do with the computer/my wireless internet. When I'm on Yahoo it just randomly signs on and off. It doesn't close my chat windows or anything but you see it go to the signing in screen and then the thing pops up saying I'm online again (I'm on my own buddy list so I can see my status messages and stuff). I also use MSN and it doesn't do anything like this. Anyone have any ideas?

It could be that you are losing connection and MSN just takes longer to kick off. Yahoo might be having server problems for that matter.

Do you have problems with websurfing or frequent disconnects on your wireless?

Its nothing else but Yahoo. My wireless doesn't disconnect and neither does MSN. Its not but just a second. It just goes from the buddy list to me signing back in.

Are you hitting that little button that tells the computer to go to sleep. I have done this before and my laptop looses wireless because it thinks it should go into standby. This is the only time it happens to me.

Are you accidently hitting the button that lets the computer know the screen is closed. I know this will mess up stuff for me. That could possibly be your problem.

I'm not hitting the button to make it go to sleep nor the button to turn the monitor off. It is just random.

I would check to see that your firewall solution has all the right programs and ports open for Yahoo. My girlfriend has that issue with MSN and Windows Firewall. Just read what Yahoo tells you about firewall issues and see if you have all the right connections made and not blocked.
