The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    It's based on Chromium, so I don't really see a compelling reason to use it over either Chrome or Chromium.

    This isn't the first Chromium based project, either. Sorry OP, but to be fair, a Russian piece of software doesn't make me feel very comfortable - especially when there are known and established, trusted developers that have also made their own Chromium based browser (I'm using one of them as I say this).

    I just use Comodo Dragon, has a lot of nice built in security features. Also use it to start up in Incognito, that is sweet.

    Dragon is pretty good. People seem to lean towards Iron more for privacy's sake (they say it performs ever so slightly faster too). I've never heard of SRWare before Iron, so I was hesitant. But a little bit of research and trial, and Iron has treated me well. :)
