    Hi guys,

I recently purchased a laptop with XP Pro on it. I received a XP recovery disc with the laptop.

If I clean install Vista OEM but then want to revert back to XP for a while can I use the XP recovery disc to fully install XP?

    Or will this not work?

Yes, you can install Windows XP after the OEM version of Windows Vista is installed. Unless you wish to set up dual boot, you will have to remove Windows Vista and format the computer, if/when the time comes for you to revert back.

Yes, Dual Booting is a waste of HDD space, and just makes the HDD space untidy. You simply need to boot the OS setup from the disc Before Booting into your existing version of Windows.
