Good Morning ladies and gents,
Seem to be having a weird issue with YouTube that is replicated on Brave, Waterfox and Edge. The site seems to attempt loading the tab but for what ever reason, doesnt, but still loads the video.

I usually listen to longplays or podcasts to pass the time at work so Youtube being borked is disturbing me more than I would like to admit lol
Anyone got any ideas as to why this is happening? Ill try disabling hardware acceleration in a moment. Only happens when opening a new video under a new tab via mouse 2 and open in a new tab and/or mouse 3 on a thumbnail
System:
i7 4765T
16GB DDR3

Lenovo M93P

delete all your cookies
reboot your modem
run in compatability mode for windows 7
problem should be fixed
I had the same issue a while back very annoying when your setup is running perfect, you get a microsoft update and some things wind up being broken -
Already did
Issue not replicated on other devices
I doubt Edge needs to be run in win7 compatibility mode
Fresh install of Windows 10 Pro, maybe 2-3 days -
When any uncomprehensible things happens, am a fan of the elimination method.
For internet\browsing, some steps
- restart pc & modem (y did that)
- alternate browser (did that)
- clear caches (did that)
- disable addons
- test on phone's network (hotspot)
- disable firewall
- reset hosts
- etc
- etc
- etc
- throw pc out window, buy new :O)Papusan and saturnotaku like this. -
saturnotaku Notebook Nobel Laureate
-
maybe update graphics driver or perhaps install a discrete 3rd party graphics adapter for that M93p machine
-
win key + r
type cmd hit enter
type exactly the next line
ipconfig/flushdns
hit enter
type exit hit enter
Doesn't hurt anything and just wipes the dns cache which windows rebuilds automatically.
I've seen it fix more errors like this one than you can imagine. -

Hey Spartan.
(To me) it sounds like it's not parsing across domains being that it loads the site partially but not fully.
also it does the same across different browsers and only the 1 unit on the network does it and apparently cookies have been cleared.
One thing I haven't heard about is possibly disabling a VPN if one exists....I'd do that first of course.
Sure sounds like a network or dns type issue to me. -

Thank you guys for the input and I do apologize. Today has been, trying. Death in the family.
@Spartan@HIDevolution
Due to the nature of the machine and also the network it is on, I cant accept your proposition due to network security. Thus far, oddly enough the machine has been left on overnight and that weird issue that came up seems to have been resolved. I havent checked the machine though so it could be that it picked up a different driver via Windows update
Thanks again everyone and I apologize again for not having been more attentive to this threadPapusan and Spartan@HIDevolution like this.
