Why won't YouTube videos embed anymore?

Seems to work for me...
<object width='480' height='295'><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/AB2kUB1XsI4&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/AB2kUB1XsI4&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width='480' height='295'></embed></object>Last edited by a moderator: May 6, 2015 -

OK, I copied your link of you tube to my Favorites, and now it works for me, thanks.

Sweet. All you have to do is copy the embed code from the video you're watching (see attachment).

Yes, I was doing that, but it just would not embed for some reason? It's working fine now.

HTML code is off in the Political forum, so you can't embed videos there (I see you tried to).

I don't know of a tutorial on all the forum stuff, though it would be nice. Every so often even I discover a new feature - or that this forum doesn't support one that others do. Double-quotes actually took a really long time for me to figure out. What you have to do is click "Multi-Quote" on each of the posts you wish to quote (they can be over multiple pages, or even threads), and then click "Quote" on the last one you wish to quote. And - tada! - it'll be all ready and multiquoted!
I'm not sure how convenient Google Toolbar is, but several recent browsers include automatic spell-checking that is turned on by default. Firefox and Opera 10 Alpha both have it enabled by default. Of those, Firefox probably is the better choice if you aren't confident about not getting viruses/worms/etc., as alpha software may have a few security holes. -
Thanks, Ive been manually typing in username quote codes. Google Toolbar is a great all around whatchamacallit thingamajig ect. ect. I also use a free program called Word Web that works great. http://wordweb.info/free/
