Youtube Hack Script code Works in Firefox, Safari and Opera!!!

After I installed the new version of Firefox. Something pops up and tells me to try the Code and create a bookmarks/Favorites Button out it.



Surprisingly It works!!!

The function was added by Youtube maybe several weeks or months ago. I don't know the exact date.
CODE: I am just using the Function created by Youtube. Maybe they intentionally add that for easier access and download. Even if it's not yet 100% loaded as long as it reads the function. SURELY it will work.

Just create a Bookmark Toolbar Button for that and it will access the youtube page function called swfArgs[x] to get the parameters.

Youtube.com/get_video?video_id=swfArgs[x]... so on and so on.

Probably because I have no idea what I'm doing!

 

umm well what i did was
-right click on the bookmark bar
-click on new bookmark
- type in one of the two codes on this page (there's one for downloading the video as flv format and theres one for mp4) into the location column, and type whatever name you want into the name column...
and then click OK
a bookmark button should show up on the bookmark bar

and then just go to a video on youtube and click on that bookmark button that you have just created...there you go

oppps... it works in Opera Browser too... wow!!!!!

Now it's a CROSS-BROWSER YOUTUBE DOWNLOADER! (except IE)

Why can't you just open a little website that does it for you on all the browsers, withouth having to do this multiple times on multiple browsers, and then again when you re-install them, or the OS?

That's the puzzle that keeps on bugging for several weeks now.
After I made GuggleTube, I wanted to make something like a toolbar button in Firefox and other browsers...

How can I make something like that inside the browser?

This hack is really exciting and great for me. This is what I wanted.

Lawrence's YouTube Download Bookmarks for Firefox don't seem to be working as well as they used to. On certain ones I get a new page with "Invalid parameters."
