    Youtube Outage?

    edit: Seems it's just local. Probably works where you are.

    I've noticed YouTube is down but every other Internet site, including those owned by Google, seems to be working just fine. Reminds me of what happened about a year ago, when Pakistan managed to knock out YouTube to pretty much the entire world.

    It's definitely not my browser; it won't come up on any browser. Anyone else able to reach it? Might some government be up to YouTube mischief again?

    Huh. Oh well. I'm in Virginia; maybe it's local or indeed just at the ISP level. First time I've seen an outage since the Pakistan incident here, though.

    i apologise. my other identity snuck up on me. youtube's working fine for me now, but it did act kinda wierd a few hours ago - slow loading, some playback glitches.

    Maint is normal I see it all the time since I usually try to go on at odd hours. you know even if it was down down and not just maint it wont be down too long since so many big dogs have a hand in its operation (aka google)
