Hey Guys I am having a problem with my Zone alarm, My intrusions have shot up to over 36,000, I know that may not to a lot to some but it is climbing every second. What can I do or check to see why my intrusion are going out of control?

I don't believ it is my network, because the other computer intrusions are at 1 like mine was.

Any help or sugguestion would be much helpful.

    Thanks

The intrusions aren't always a bad thing, just means something is trying to get through to you or you requested something to get through just means ZA blocked something since the last install or update. If you have it set to the highest though, there won't be as many. Sometimes mine shows none, sometimes it shows tons. I use ZA as well. I'm in stealth mode so mine shows very little.

Although I do love ZAP, it does have a few continual issues and this is one of them. Certain updates cause different problems, the newest one is horrible IMO. If you've updated yours recently it may list the intrusions differently than the other pcs on your network. But as long as you are all running the same version and have the same firewall settings, they should be roughly the same but every "intrusion" is different.

At least you know it's working though lol ;)

You could try downgrading to an older version. There is probably one available on P2P.

If you decide that you do not like Zonealarm, give Kerio Personal Firewall a shot.

It is really easy to use.

BTW, I am not sure how Zonealarm does it, but the "intrusions attempts" might be nothing more than your computer getting "pinged" from potential bots/hackers/etc...not anything to worry about since you have a firewall. :)
