When watching movies I tend to use the zoom feature on my laptop. Only problem is when I use the zoom and go back to regular resolution my icons all all jumbled into the top left corner which makes me have to rearrange my icons all over again. Is there any way to set icons in a permanent position so I don't have this hassle all the time?

Maybe right clink on your desktop in a empty space.
I'm not sure if this could be the cause, but if you have it checked un check auto arrange.
To get there right clink the desktop, and highlight over the first option "Arrange Icons by"

I don't use my icons on my desktop so I'm not sure if this will help.

I'm not talking about changing the size of the video, I'm talking about the Zoom feature on the laptop (I assume it decreases the laptop's resolution to make everything look bigger). I use it with low quality video files because it looks better with the zoom feature instead of making the video itself bigger.
