    Hi folks,

interesting problem here. Last night my XPS dell support center pings me about this critical update "Dell DataSafe Local Backup" which i happily followed today n installed. and for some weird reason I let my tuneup utilities run and it finds

"windows reports that a device "6TO4 Adaptor" is not working properly."

now I go to device manager which shows an exclamation mark inside a yellow triangle. :| I try doing check for solution and driver update, nothing finds me any result.

would any of you guys be having any idea about this?

P.S. oh,btw i am not even sure if my query belongs to this thread only or the hardware section.

( It has to do with your network adapter. Are you having any trouble connecting to your network? You can disable the IPv6 protocol in the card properties if needed to connect, otherwise it's safe to ignore.) googled this. Another solution would be to go into add remove programs and enable show updates. Find the update and delete it.

Since you know how to get to device manager, you could un-install the device and re-boot. That will force Windows to re-install it. (Hopefully properly)....

The 6to4 adapter is a virtual device that converts IPv6 addresses to IPv4. You shouldn't worry about it unless you're using IPv6 for anything.
