hi i just bought a new laptop with the express upgrade to windows vista option. i was just concerned about its policies. im still not sure about the whole limitation on how many times you can reinstall and reactivating when you change a hardware. i would also would want to know if the CD that will be sent to us will be a full installation CD or a upgrade CD. sry if this was already asked but i tried searching for it and could not find it. :)

That is the license agreement for purchased copies of Vista. The license agreement for the Express Upgrades is different. Since your copy is for a Dell, you will receive a Dell specific upgrade pack. This will include a special upgrade DVD, as well as a software/drivers disc from Dell. You can reinstall and reactivate as many times as you need to, but as far as system upgrades there is a limit. You won't be able to build a new PC and activate that copy of Vista on it, even if you trash your notebook. It will be tied to that notebook's motherboard, and will be not for resale, reuse on another machine, etc.
