Have a compaq presario that have been using for several years producing various graphics for my business. Up until today, on the desktop all the icons would be located to the left on the screen, filling up about 75 percent of the screen. (the screens desktop selected background color would still fill the entire screen). In a program like corel the 8 1/2 x 11 sheet would show normal proportions, being a bit longer than it was wide. Must have hit a special key for suddenly the icons on the desktop fill the entire wide screen being in a stretched mode. In corel the 8 1/2 x 11 sheet shows out of proportion being wider than it is in height. Did go into the control panel and the display mode but was unable to change anything that would get the display back the way it was including the font height or resolution. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Do you think you might have changed your DPI? That's the only thing I could think of that would cause this.
