guys the title says it all, i did a fresh install in my laptop (on my sig) then i have no software for windows, sad to say in our area we can only connect thru wifi, also another issue is whenever i start my laptop, some sort of recovery option takes place, saying i can add a driver, i dont know which one i should have, in the device manager, an exclamation point was being seen in my ethernet, also another problem, i did a back up before i did the fresh install, originally before, i have 2 partitions in my hardrive, now when i did the fresh install (because of an error occured in my back up) and only 1 drive is showing, the 2nd hdd is missing :( how can i fix this guys? please advice, thanks

Which computer lappy do you have is it the one on your signature file? If that is the one you have to go to their site and type your serial or Service tag and that should identify what make and model and what hardware is installed in your computer. Otherwise you will have to remove the bottom cover where the Wifi is located or under the keyboard palmrest to see identify which wifi card it has installed and from there you can do to the laptop site and find which drivers there are for it. So you have to always identify which laptop or desktop one is asking for help on otherwise where all confused whoms laptop or yours or which one your talking about. And if it is the signature then please inform us if it is or not and not then tell us which laptop your talking about???

download hwinfo64 from my sig below. close top window and on left of next window click on network. this will tell you which wifi card you have loaded and then just search for it on the dellianware site.

Dell's website has a section for downloading drivers. If you don't know which wireless you have, just download all of them on another computer, then run each one until the wireless works.

guys also one problem is, my first partition is not showing, i have drive C: before, now i have one drive left, originally i have 2 disks in partitions, how can i recover the first drive? coz the first drive contains most of my installers :( i will give it a shot at dell site, i have atheros and tried to install, ethernet and network controller has an exclamation point on it, and when i try to install atheros (which i remember that i have atheros as wifi software) it says modem not found :(

If you did a "fresh install" maybe you wiped out all of the recovery/extra partitions.

yup, fresh install as far as i know will wipe partition.
you could try a search to see if a folder called windows.old was saved which will have the data of the previous drive.
