Sometimes there are even more processes than that. all svchost.

svchost.exe' are important system processes and your computer needs them. To see where they actually belong or to what service they actually belong to, download process explorer and take a look there.
And of course, don't terminate them... your computer needs them. -
Right click on a svchost, and click Go to Service(s). Sort the Services tab by PID (Process ID), and there you have it, all the services that this particular svchost is hiding under it's bum. If you see some useless services under any of these svchosts, disable them.
And there's nothing to be ashamed of, it's not your fault. Once I installed Fiferox web-browser on Lunix, and there were like 1000s of these!
EDIT: fonduekid, stop following me. -
I have the same thing.
As above posts said, not a problem. -
chillax about the svchosts looks bad i know but most of the time harmless, do check out the process explorer or guard to see what it belongs too
-
Silas has it right. Each svchost process runs a different set of services.

Svchost = service host, a "container" that is used to host one or more system services. Having several of these hosts is perfectly normal.
