    Hey there, i will get a 42" plasma tv soon and it will be most times be connected to my laptop via hdmi. Now i wonder if there is a free alternative to ultramon ? I only need the feature of different wallpapers on the monitor + changing them every 30 minutes. Any ideas?

    Here is what I found. LINK

    Another possible solution would be to edit your photos together into one image and set Windows to "tile" the background. The result should be a different image on each display. Add that to Windows 7's feature that changes the desktop background every 30 minutes and you should be set.

    thanks for the link but none of them offers what i need with the free version. also displayfusion doesnt :/

    i already thought about making 2 wallpapers to one but:

    my laptops display = 1680x1050 and the tv is 1920x1080

    so i would have a small image and a bigger one.. no idea if that will work but i will give it a try :)

    @edit:

    i have just tried it with photoshop.. lol my wallpaper would be 77mb oO the original pictures were 5mb + 2mb or smth

    @edit2: with paint it works fine. but i could only try it on a beamer yet with 800x600. hope it works fine on the plasma tv too :)

    @edit3: okay works fine :) thanks for the help
