I tried the following on windows 7 on c2d ULV7600 cpu

RMclock: undervolts by very little ~0.05V - idle cpu temp 60C
NHC: does not support c2d cpu for undervolt - idle cpu temp 60C
CPUgenie: undervolts by as much as 0.15V - idle cpu temp 60C

i used speedfan to monitor the temperatures. but nothing changes
any software that really work for you guys that decreases significantly the idle temperature?

maybe the CPU temps cant be read? My 6935g's cpu temps cant be read. but i noticed the temps changes through the gpu.. since the heatsink are connected together..

some system temp sensors have a default minimum setting. Perhaps this constant 60c is your machines default starting point.

none of the software that reads the cpu temp works in win 7 64 bit here on my laptop, they all read the temp when the programs start but then never update thats why whatever you do its never moves
rmclock should work better than that on your cpu, it goes a lot lower then you say here on mine, so you must have it set wrong somewhere

the temperature, when under load, it does increase when monitored. but the lowest it's still 60C even after undervolt.
maybe as newsposter said, maybe that 60C is the minimum set? i've never heard that though but if so, that's so stupid of the manufacturer... :(

i'm using 32bit windows 7. so rmclock should work fine? but how come the undervolt settings is only one? it doesn't provide all the voltages as cpugenie

Undervolting doesnt really help here.. Its always minimum 50 or just under, both cpu and gpu

do you have rmclock set to mobile in the advanced cpu setting?
