hey everyone ive been trying to find out if this is possible at all. i want to change boot screen not the logon screen just to be clear. And if at all possible i want the animation to also replace the welcome screen. idk if im being clear about this.

i want something like whats in this video. excep this video is using dreamscene to have a video as the desktop wallpaper.

basically i want the first 14 seconds of this video to be my boot up screen instead of the windows stuff.

I think that some of the paid-for Stardock utilities do this. Going there and then researching alternatives should point you towards a few alternatives.

I don't think that you will be able to find something free to do this through.

no, you won't. farzana didn't understand your question or the answer.

vista dreamscene can be made to work on win7, but it involves a few reg hacks and doesn't appear to be all that stable.

Microsoft have made sure that the boot screen isn't changeable for security matters.

    Sorry, no solution yet.
