    annoying ,disgusting advertisement in Google Chrome

    starting a week ago , I don't know what I clicked, now the Google Chrome browser always pop up a new tab to a website once or twice approx. every 24 hours with loud noise --- "I can help you earn.........."

    Once the tab is closed, it happens again another 12 hours or 24 hours

    How can I clean it out??? What did I do to get this ridiculous adware??

    After performing a scan, you can also reset Chrome to its default settings.

    Screen shot of the problem? And does that happen if you use other browser with the same homepage as you Chrome homepage?

    It might be something as "harmless" as a change in homepage setting, scheduling the page to open at some interval (if that is possible in chrome) or it could be something much more nefarious. In any case, malwarebytes should be your first step.

    If you want to take the overkill approach, you could use something like tronscript, but use at your own risk.
