I am using my laptop on battery and didnt want the processor to exceed 1.0 GHz @ 0.95v but when i set RM clock to "power saving" it set the voltage at 1.262v and the core was 1Ghz. Does that make sense? How can the processor be given more power and stay at a lower clock speed when a lower volatge (1.025) in enough for 1.67GHz?

How can i set it up so that it stays at 1 GHz to save power? Do i need to set all the P-state transitions to 0.95? But how do i do that? It seems i can only change one global profile but i use that to undervolt using "performance on demand".

    Im confused.

    You da man RogueMonk! Thanks!

I just ticked the State 0 box under the "power saving" profile but cant seem to delete the other ones.

Everything seems to be ok now.

    Thanks again! :D
