You know how games need the dvd or cd to play the game. Is there a way to make it so I dont need to insert the CD the launch the game?
My dvd drive is external so I dont want to be bringing the thing along with all my games every time.
Is there a solution without needing daemon tools or other third parties? Is there something native to windows 7? If not, what is the best solution? Is it possible for me to make an .iso image of my DVD and somehoe get windows to mount this as a drive?

Welcome to the wonderful world where pirates have a better working product than you, the legitimate consumer who actually gave the company your money.
That said, we will not entertain any discussion of how to get around DRM or these limitations. There are very legal uses for mounting ISO images so we can talk about those programs. Getting around DRM, with the DMCA there is no legal way. YHBW(arned). -
try daemon tools if its still out there

In future, use Steam
Also, quite a few official Devs silently remove DRM from their games after official and totally legit patch releases. Some examples are Halo, Arma 2, Company Of Heroes, Quake 4 and a few others that I am sure I forgot. Usually this is hidden away in a change log somewhere. -

It's one of the most frustrating things. We who buy games legally have to jump through all these hoops whereas people who download can just bypass them. Surely there's some elegant way to solve this issue.
