    If your asking how to install both so they both work, install XP first and Vista second in different partitions.

    I did the same...then use easyBCD to afterwards in vista to edit the name of xp (after installing vista when the option to boot up into different OS... windows xp comes up as an earlier version of windows)

    Not using anything special. Installed XP MCE 2005. Then installed Vista Ultimate. Vista set-up the dual-boot automatically.
