i was wondering what a normal score for a system like mine would be.

i bought pcmark vantage and ended up with a score of 3277.

i figured a system like mine should score much higher, the highest being 7645 according to their website.

    I got 3198

The current highest is much higher than 7645.

I'm beaten by all the HDD stuff, because his PC is overclocked to 4.4Ghz

Same here I got about 3100 on PCMark Vantage and 3666 with 3DMark06 on my laptop. Now I can't bench anymore because I can't seem to delete any of my old benches.
