    i have a windows anytime upgrade that i bought and used it with my old computer can i uninstall it and use it on my new computer or do i have to buy a new upgrade now

    More specs? What kinda Windows anytime upgrade is it and what is the site? This is so vague no one will be able to discern what your asking?

    The anytime upgrade is from microsoft going from windows 7 home prem up to ultimate i bought it through hp about 2 years ago or thereabouts

    Do you have the Windows 7 ISO or disk then? We here have no idea if that is still valid or active anymore you need to talk to MS support about this since they are the owner of the O/S your talking about.

    The upgrade should be transferable, reformat the old computer with Home and use the upgrade on the new computer. You'll still need some flavor of Windows 7 (Pro or Home) installed on the new comp before upgrading.
