    No problems at all here.

What's your OS and how much memory do you have installed?

I would install the DownThemAll Addon...I've been downloading like 10 at once, no problem...that's in Vista Ultimate x64 btw.

Use a 3rd party download manager like FlashGet or Download Accelerator. That way, you can avoid any potential problems in the built-in download manager of FF, and also greatly increase download speeds. Those tools can download a single file using multiple streams (connections) at the same time, in contrast to the single connection download method of FireFox.

I've not been having any problems such as that but I have been finding FF very sluggish at times recently. If I open more than 5 tabs I get occasional slow down of typing. This doesn't happen all the time but its incredibly annoy when it does. The other problem I experience is the inability to switch between tabs. I can close them and open new ones, I'm just perpetually stuck on the one page and I need to restart FF to fix this problem. My system specs are in my signature. Anyone else having problems such as this or know of a way to remedy it?

2.8 was sluggish i agree...but 2.9 is better...although ya it hogs up LITTLE more memory than IE7 but it doesnt crash like IE7 & u can also restore session...i really find restore session very useful as i keep experimenting with my laptop & it crashes a lot.

I would expect that there might be an Event Viewer entry that could shed some light on this.
