Is the "Internet Security Pack" the "Anti-Virus" with extra stuff? Or are they different?

Would you recommend them or should I just stick with my subscription to Avast?

I reconmmend the Kaspersky. It is so sharp and doesn't eat much of your main ram. ACtually, I'm using it on this desktop I'm typing on right now. It's exellent!

I agree Kaspersky's an excellent program but I'm not sure if it's exactly light :).
I used to have Kaspersky 5 but eventually switched to AVG because my Internet provider gave me guarantees about the local network security (small town, you know :)). Internet Security is more expensive and I think it'll pay off only if you're really in a troublesome local network (like mine some months ago..)

The internet security portion of kaspersky contains a firewall and anti-spyware components that the regular antivirus does not have. If you need these extra programs, like I do, then you need the Internet Security. I love my Kaspersky, and it is low on resources considering you have a firewall and antivirus in one package. I know it has a smaller footprint than the Symantec Corporate edition I was using before I switched to Kaspersky, and the Symantec did have a firewall either.

The choice depends on your needs, but both products are highly recommended.
