    asus g2s-a1 Vista Currupt Registry needs OS disk

    Hey yeah well basicly my Registry is currupted and i cant get into safe mode for the same reason. It says I need an actual OS disk to repair this not the Wipe disk they give you to access Partition 3 >: ( why does asus just f*** you over like that. Basically I have to wipe my whole partition 1 if i wana use the "Recovery" disk they gave me.

    So can I steal my buddys Vista Home premium disk and just repair it. I really dont wna reformat. Asus wont help me so yeah.

    Yes, you should boot from any standard Vista distro DVD and see what recovery options will it offer.
