I have recently been using windows blinds for my laptop but now I have switched back to the originals vista skin.

Before I installed windowsblinds when the laptop is run on batteries the transparancy is disabled. And when i plug it in, it is enabled.

But now, it does not do that. It is always stuck with transparancy enabled, or if I disable it, it remains disabled.

Since I want to save some batteries how can i enable the disabling of the transparancy on batteries?
is it some sort of update that has changed this power setting?

My laptop is a DV2700 HP laptop.

I dunno, it does that out of the box for me. You might be able to change it in the power options

I use it. It does a great job with zero side effects. When I read the OP I immediately thought that he probably had this installed originally.
