    which bandwidth monitor is the best suited for vista in your opinion ? In XP i used to use the bandwidth monitor pro,but this doesnt seem to be working with vista. i really loved this program and its cool features. is there any way to make it work on vista
    (it doesnt detect the network adapter- i tried compatibility mode that doesnt work). however pls suggest some bandwidth monitoring tools

    i used to use DU Meter in xp and for a while i had it working for vista but since i put the sp1 pack on and updated my network drivers its gotten all confused again at giving me a higher reading, would like to know too as my xps is my download box (useless less power)

    ^^... i dont use the sidebar. i hate it for its memory usage and turn it off. can u recommend me some app that will stay in the taskbar. i heard of a program called bandwidth vista. is it good ??

    kuncheese, you have 2GB of RAM, what else are you going to do with it? When I had 2GB, I would run Sidebar, Firefox, Thunderbird, and Word, and HL2 CS:S and have ZERO problems...all while running Vista x64...use the sidebar!

    well in fact i use maya and autocad ....... so i think 2gb is just sufficient... :)

    Having Porsche 959 doesnt mean u have to run it at 120 MPH always...

    And Apart from memory.. the Program has lot of CPU usage... so it slows down the comp.

    lol when it comes to ram, i want the most i can get. 2 gb is probably sufficient for what i do which includes surfing, light gaming, school, aim, hw, etc.
    needa upgrade to 3gb soon >:O
