    battery health checking?

    Hi, it seems like the new version of HWmonitor does not have the battery information anymore. what software do you guys recommend i use to check out my battery status (it dosent seem to be holding as much of a charge as before)?

    You could also try HWinfo32, which shows a bit more.

    Anyways if HWmonitor doesn't show up, then it most likely also batterybar doesn't show correctly as well.

    Disagree. Batterybar shows my Dell battery's capacity while HWmonitor used to (but not anymore.) Same applies to my Acer TimelineX.

    Odd, reads fine on mine. My model released half a year ago.

    I had this issue before in one of my reformat, but resolved it by rolling back my bios to get it seen. Then update back up.

    Notebook Hardware Control has a nice one, but I think it runs on 32bit only. I use BatteryBarPro and agree with others, it's a nice app'

    HWMonitor V1.16 showed the battery details but V1.17 doesn't. As the version history doesn't say anything about dropping the feature, I assume it is a bug. I've gone back to V1.16 until a new release comes out. But, I normally use BatteryBar for the battery details and HWMonitor for the temperatures.
