Yes, the best firewall out now is Comodo pro firewall. Many security experts agree that it is the overall best of them all.

Norton is leagues behind Comodo. You underestimate the power of free, my friend...

Are the Mods being lazy today? Or they just don't feel like moving this thread.

You'll get many opinions, but you will eventually need to decide for yourself.

I use and like ZoneAlarm AntiVirus.

It means i am using the Best ????

    I have NOD32 + COMODO

I kicked the s*** of out Norton ...so it never came back to trouble me..

I even deleted the Product KEY of Norton 2007 in hurry, convinced that i'll never need it..
Coz i am never gonna go back to Norton unless some1 recommends it over NOD32

Is Norton IS 2008 better than NOD32 now?

NIS 2008 is a major improvement over the previous editions.

It's light on resources, doesn't bug me like the past editions, and AFAIK I haven't been infected or anything like that.

I've had ZERO complaints about it thus far.

    Ugh. Norton. Eww.
Anyway, AVG is great for me, except for the false positives. It's not a memory hog either :)

Used AVG and Zonealarm for 4 years without a problem.

Recently switched to COMODO + AntiVir and it takes like 50MB more RAM for no functional increase IMO. Also Antivir doesn't want to auto-update for some reason even though its on. This is a common problem.

Will go back in a couple of weeks to AVG/ZA when i reformat.
